HOW WE WORK
Editorial and corrections policy
GetWorkInTech editorial team · Updated 20 October 2026
Who publishes this site
GetWorkInTech is an independent remote technology job board maintained by the GetWorkInTech editorial team. We publish source-attributed listings and our own job-search guidance. We are not the employer or application platform for the imported vacancies. For editorial questions and corrections, contact tomas@syntaxflow.dev.
Automated listings and editorial selections are different
The general board imports offers from Jobicy, Solid.jobs and Careerjet. Automated rules select supported technology categories, require remote-work evidence, reject explicit hybrid/office requirements and retain the source’s supported location and salary period. Those rules reduce noise; they do not independently authenticate every employer or guarantee that every source detail is correct.
Source imports are scheduled four times daily. A successful import checks information supplied by that provider. It does not mean an editor visited every application form, interviewed the employer or verified every legal hiring restriction. Provider failures can delay refreshes.
Our dated editorial shortlists are smaller selections whose source pages and descriptions are individually reviewed. Each explains why a role was selected, what remains unclear, and the scope of the check. The live availability label comes from current board inventory; the editorial review date changes only after another actual review.
What our dates and labels mean
- Added to this board: the first import into GetWorkInTech.
- Last checked: the latest successful source refresh of that record, not a manual application test.
- Published by source / Source expiry: dates supplied by the provider when available.
- Reviewed: a dated editorial reading and source-page check, limited to the facts described in that article.
- Remote / country: source eligibility information, not permission to work from any country. Confirm residence, authorisation, time zones and office visits with the advertiser.
Public queries hide explicitly expired offers and records not refreshed for seven days. A source can close an offer before its published expiry. If a selected role stops meeting our live visibility rules, its shortlist entry retains dated commentary but no longer offers an application link.
Original guidance, sources and AI assistance
Our guides provide practical checklists, comparison methods and clearly labelled fictional examples. We link primary sources for legal and safety context. Guides are prepared with AI assistance and editorial checks; they are not personalised legal, tax, financial or immigration advice. Imported descriptions remain attributable to their original providers.
We do not invent employer reviews, interviews, applicant outcomes or first-hand experience. A shortlist is a limited selection, not a salary survey or an endorsement of the advertiser’s conduct. We state material uncertainty instead of filling gaps with assumed facts.
Commercial disclosures
Using this board does not require payment. Application destinations may contain provider or publisher attribution. A tracked provider link does not change the application requirements or imply our endorsement. We have not verified earnings from these links. The 20 October 2026 shortlist contains no paid placements; future paid placements must be labelled separately from editorial selections.
Advertising, if enabled, must be distinguished from listings and subject to the configured consent controls. See the privacy policy for the current analytics and advertising state.
Corrections and removals
Use Report a listing and include the board URL, original source URL, the problem and when you observed it. Useful reports identify a closed vacancy, misleading remote requirement, wrong salary period, broken destination or suspected impersonation. Do not send CVs, identity documents or credentials.
We assess the supplied evidence and can correct or remove our listing or editorial commentary. Automated source refreshes may also change or retire records. A successful report-email handoff is not proof that a correction has been completed; we confirm material corrections when reviewed. We do not promise a specific response time.
